Bob Patin founded Longterm Solutions in 1998, after spending his career as a professional musician, traveling all over the world, playing with world-famous recording artists, and playing on recording projects for clients in studios in Nashville, TN.

After learning to write applications for the Macintosh in 1986, Bob transitioned to the FileMaker database in the early 90s, which led to his founding Longterm Solutions in 1998 and offering consulting and hosting services to clients in the music business.

Business grew rapidly, leading to Longterm Solutions' rapid growth as a hosting and consulting company; currently, the company hosts several hundred databases, almost 500 websites, and designs and deploys web application solutions for clients all over the world.
