Joe Scarpetta is a co-owner of Apphia Solutions. Previously, he spent 8 years with the National Fire Protection Association as an IS consultant/in-house FileMaker developer. His background in FileMaker spans more than 15 years, starting with the prepress/print industry. Joe has also built solutions to manage proposed safety code changes, telemarketing, collections, bulk shipping, meetings, and electronic balloting. His strongest skill is the ability to translate business requirements into successful solutions and build them with FileMaker. He has strong FileMaker and PHP experience, and specializes in bringing solutions to the Web. In 2008, he added FileMaker Developers conference speaker to his resume, where he spoke about integration of Adobe Spry with the FileMaker API for php, along with starting his consulting company and becoming a FileMaker Business Alliance Member.

Keri Scarpetta is a co-owner of Apphia Solutions. While living in Massachusetts, she had many years working as both a medical and dental assistant, prior to this she had over 5 years in the print industry. She brings a tremendous amount of working business knowledge to the table when planning projects in theses industries as well as general business. The approach she takes to build a project scope is based on hands on real world knowledge with medical and dental procedures, insurance, office planning, ordering, and organization, and overall quality and workflow. She knows the details and will push to make a project simple to use but accurate for a client. FileMaker became part of her life in version 8, and now works in FileMaker Pro 10.
